I agree with everything been said, I have for ages been hoping CCP would add some real dynamic RP / content to the game.
1) Why do pirates spawn out of no where? If me and my corp mates clear a system out of pirates they should have to warp in through a gate from their base like everyone else :P
2) As mentioned by you in your first post, pirates setting up bases and trying to take over territory. Pirate activity goes up, sec rating goes down and players can affect the events of the game in that area by taking out the pirates.
3) Like wise concord can be actively fighting / trying to claim new systems in the process.
4) Empire Wars? Maybe too hard to implement due to need for safe zone for non pvpers / new players. Maybe new systems are discovered / worm whole etc... And empires are fighting cold war / unofficial war over these vast new resources?
5) We need lots more places / content to explore. Jovian space and story. Also strange NPC alien races etc lucking out in the depths of 0.0 (0.0 space should be a lot bigger IMO, or add new systems through worm hole / jump gate idea). I really like the idea of encountering a new alien race with possible rare tech loot (if u could manage to destroy them).
5)Add jump drives, scrap the show all pilots in space option / open up 0.0 space more, so more players will venture out into 0.0 and thus more player driven content when player owned stations come in Shiva. I like the idea of being able to hide player owned stations out in 0.0 (like the research stations) so peeps will actually have to find them instead of just warping to on the scanner, and blowing it up when your not logged on.
Also be able to anchor stations next to other friendly / alliance corps, hence create small player cites. (Lag?)
6) Massively improve the market system. IMO it should never have been possible to build ships in factory slots in stations, especially cruisers and BS. Skill tree for manufacturing needs lengthening so that EVERYONE just donĘt go and manufacture all there own stuff.
No company should be able to make everything themselves, at most it should require specialisation in 1 or 2 areas. It takes specialist SKILLS / TOOLS / COMPONENTS / FACILITIES to make an item, hence why u donĘt see a ford factory manufacturing cars one day and then large passenger aircraft the next. Or your local furniture store suddenly making cruise missiles!!! Why because u need people with the skills, specialist tools and equipment, components (not just all made from raw materials), and facilities e.g. Large expensive facilities for making big complicated items like BS (not a new player with a hanger full of minerals and a BPC). (Partly addressed by tech 2). Also corp branding, item attribute research and reverse engineering (so corps can compete on price / performance). I have posted at LENGTH on this in offer threads.

There have been loads of good RP ideas in this thread, a good universe will have multiple RP threads running concurrently each aimed at keeping different sections of the EVE community interested. EVE really lacks in this respect at the mo, and after several months playing the game is starting to become very dull :(
